Peter Bilak will argue that depth of focus alone may be too limiting, and instead demonstrate that wide area of interests can make one\u2019s work stronger.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/typotalks.com\/sanfrancisco\/2013\/speakers\/single-speaker\/?tid=8501&amp;et=TYPO%20San%20Francisco%202013\">http:\/\/typotalks.com\/sanfrancisco\/2013\/speakers\/single-speaker\/?tid=8501&amp;et=TYPO%20San%20Francisco%202013<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Peter Bi\u013eak is a Slovak graphic and typeface designer based in The Hague, The Netherlands. He is the head of the\u00a0<a title=\"Typotheque\" href=\"http:\/\/www.typotheque.com\/\">Typotheque\u00a0<\/a>and co-founder of the\u00a0<a title=\"Indian Type Foundry\" href=\"http:\/\/www.indiantypefoundry.com\/\">Indian Type Foundry<\/a>. He started Typotheque in 1999,\u00a0<a title=\"Dot Dot Dot\" href=\"http:\/\/www.peterbilak.com\/design\/dot_dot_dot\">Dot Dot Dot\u00a0<\/a>in 2000, Indian Type Foundry in 2009, and\u00a0<a title=\"Works That Work\" href=\"https:\/\/worksthatwork.com\/\">Works That Work magazine\u00a0<\/a>in 2012. In 2003, he designed a series of post age stamps for the Dutch Royal Mail, which were reprinted several times with a total print run of more than 140 million copies.
