What are the chapters we want to write? What are the sections of each chapter? Other sections (columns, sidebars, rubrics) that can thread their way throughout the book?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Introduction<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Essay:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What is Interdisciplinary Graphic Design<\/li>\n<li>Why now<\/li>\n<li>A little background<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chapters:<br \/>\nHome<\/strong> (Not sure what this is)<br \/>\n<strong>School<\/strong> \u2014 How schools are organized to foster collaboration; examples of great interdisciplinary teaching; what are the pitfalls? How do we promote this?<br \/>\n<strong>Work<\/strong> \u2014 Nascent fields where graphic design merges with \u2014statistics <em>(data visualization)<\/em>, \u2013programming <em>(web design, software design, gaming, etc)<\/em>, what else? \u2013medicine, etc<br \/>\n<strong>Culture<\/strong> \u2014 How we bridge cultures in such work; learning to think like a different person; appreciating difference in the kinds of ways people think; India\/Serbia as inter-cultural projects<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chapter sections:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Essay<\/li>\n<li>Case study<\/li>\n<li>Interview<\/li>\n<li>Practical application (how you can do it, tips, assignments, projects)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><em>This replicates the structure Participate book; is there any new way we want to structure this?
